More B-day pics.....

So school has started back and I have become a slacker with posting. I am posting some pics of Tucker's actual birthday party with family and friends and just some recent photos.

If you all have a spare minute please go to the pray for Joseph blog that is listed on our blog. This family has lost their four year old child to a brain tumor. Just when you think you are having a bad day, things just are not actually that bad. I have read these posts as I checked in on Joseph over the last year in amazement at his parents and how amazing thier faith is. It is a true testiment of God's will and I think you all would gain something from reading the last few posts.

Today we celebrated Tucker's second birthday. I cannot believe he is already two years old. He had his two year old check up this morning which went great. He weighed in at 27.5 pounds which is the 45th percentile. His height was in the 67th percentile while his head was in the 70th. His head has always been a big one! Overall his pediatrician was very please with his development. He is growing right on schedule. After his appointment we went to lunch with some dear friends of ours, Kizer and Wilson Harris. They spent the day with us and we had lots of fun playing and trying to stay cool in this awful heat. After a birthday dinner tonight we celebrated with a Tigger and Pooh cake (one of his favorite morning cartoons). He says "poh" for all of the characters in that cartoon. I have attached some pics from today. I hope you enjoy.

Happy 4th!

Here are a few pictures from our fourth of July festivities. We grilled out hamburgers, went swimming, and finished off the night with a neighborhood firework show a few streets over from ours. Tucker loved the fireworks. The noise didn't bother him at all. He kept saying "more" and "WOW." His favorite part about the holiday was marching around with his American flag at his grandparents house before we left for fireworks. If I can figure out how to download that on here I will add it to this post. It is pretty funny and worth sharing. Hope you all had a wonderful Fourth of July!
